What are "Fusion Wednesday Nights"?
Fusion exists to create a safe place of community and friendship for teenagers while exploring the Christian faith and how that exists in our lives. We have teaching, fun games, music, and a small group times where we are challenged to really engage the nightly teaching. Fusion is a non-threatening, welcoming place for all youth grades 7-12.
What if I am not a Christian, can I come to Fusion or other PAC Youth Events?
Definitely! We totally welcome all youth to come to our events, it doesn't matter what faith or religion you are connected to or not connected at all! You are welcome!
Why does PAC Youth Ministries exist?
Parkview Alliance Church exists to bring the good news of the Bible to the world. As an extension of the church, PAC Youth Ministries exists to do the same, but with a particular relevancy to youth and the particular challenges and joys that come with being teenagers. We exist to care for teenagers as wholistically as we can. We are concerned with more than just their soul, we care about their growth and maturity as people, we care about their view and understanding of the world they are growing up in, and we care about what kids are experiencing in their worlds. The events and the time we spend with teens are born out of our desire to care for kids and give them the good news of the Bible and Jesus Christ, which is where we believe truth and life at its fullest comes from.
Who Can I talk to if I have questions?
If you are a youth connected to our Fusion nights, it's likely you have a "small group leader" of your own. You are welcome to talk them, or you can talk to Pastor Mike. We are open to talk with you about anything you want to talk about, whether that be spiritual/faith related questions or about life and experiences. If you are a parent your best bet would be to talk to Pastor Mike, and you can reach him via email mike@parkviewalliance.com or by phone 780-853-4229.
