Ministry at Lakeland College – I have the unique opportunity to serve as the part-time chaplain at Lakeland College this fall, and am excited about being part of the Student Services team and adding another dimension of student care to the college’s repertoire. My role at Lakeland will include spiritual counseling and pastoral care for students, staff, and faculty as well as promoting opportunities for service and spiritual dialogue. If you are a student at Lakeland – drop by my office, or send me an email – I would love to get together with you and talk life, faith or anything in between! Additionally – our church recognizes the practical needs of college students – and is always looking for opportunities to help out – whether that’s with rides to church or other locations – or looking for a safe place to hang out and a hot meal – we care for college students and have people who want to serve and care for you in this way!

Ministry to Young Adults in Vermilion – This is the ministry for young adults who are not necessarily associate with Lakeland College – community young adults! We as a church leadership team have noticed a trend in young adults in their journey of faith. It seems like young adults are searching for more depth and engagement with their faith – and often not finding it! One way that we thought we could help meet this need is by connecting young adults with mentors. People who have walked that road – people who are older and wiser – who can share their wisdom and experience, and walk through life and this journey of faith with young adults for a season of life. Mentoring is a huge value of our ministry – and allows for great intergenerational relationships to form – and for great one on one growth in life and faith. If you are interested in setting up a mentorship – I am your contact person. In addition we are looking to start a small group for local young adults looking to get connected with other young adults and grow in community in their relationship with Christ.
